HOW MANY CHARITIES ARE INVOLVED?

270 nonprofits have guaranteed entries and many other charities have runners who use their own entry ro support them. In 2024 over 12,000 runners raised funds, a big percentage of the field.

WHY IS IT GOOD FOR FUNDRAISING?

There is a real push by the organisers to make this a fundraising event and the nonprofits involved now have access to a much improved level of support.

There are various functions, but these are dependant on amounts raised.

HOW TOUGH IS IT TO GET A CHARITY ENTRY?

Charity bibs are generally available up until the cut off point a few weeks before the event. The pledge differs between charities and the privileges received also vary significantly. The levels are overall much lower than events such as London and New York.
