30 DAY CHALLENGES

Welcome to our 30 Day Challenges! They are a great way to fundraise and all the funds you generate will help our charity partners with their essential work. They are really flexible and you can have lots of fun along the way. You can run as little or often as you like, within the 30 days and when and where you like, and be rewarded with an exclusive medal, and a range of other goodies, like hoodies, caps and more. To make it that bit easier we include a free 12 month Navy membership to The Sapphire Running Zone for all entrants. This gives you training plans, blogs and more on everything running and walking! We'll tell you how to get all this in your welcome email once you sign up. On this page you'll see the steps to get started, the 12 virtual destinations, videos and an introduction to themed destination fundraising. As an added bonus there is also 20% off all running gear!


 

STEP 1

Decide on your charity from the list below and your preferred distance, from 5km to the marathon.  You have 30 days to complete your challenge, whatever the distance. You can run, or walk, and for however far you like on any given day. Do it all in one day, or over 30 days, it's your choice. 

Select your charity  in the 'CHOOSE YOUR CHARITY AND ENTER HERE' section at the bottom of this page. It's free to enter and is really quick!

STEP 2

Once you've entered you'll be sent a link to a page that has all of our virtual destinations. Simply select where in the world you want to run virtually and you can get started. With all the support on offer you'll think you're actually there! There are videos, playlists and themed fundraising ideas!

Setting up a fundraising page is easy and we'll show you how to do that, how to update it and how to share it. You'll be surprised how simple it all is.

STEP 3

Keep a record of each run (use a running app or smartwatch) and then upload the files on the destination page once you're done. We'll check it and once verified, along with your fundraising we'll send you email  confirmation and a few days later your goodies will follow.

You just need to hit certain fundraising targets to get your goodies. These will vary by charity and start at just £50 to grab one of the great medals!

We've put together a Spotify playlist for every distance and every destination, so when you're out on your run or walk you'll be able to do it with the sounds of your chosen destination in your ears!

DESTINATION THEMED FUNDRAISING IDEAS

Why not host a fundraising dinner party using local food and drink from your destination or a bake sale using local products? We've got lots of great ideas to make your fundraising fun and easy!
