Alongside him will be Alastair, an experienced guide runner. Unlike traditional guide running, there’s a twist: they won’t be tethered together. Instead, Alastair will act as a safety net, ready to step in if needed, while Clarke relies primarily on remote guidance. “I’m hoping on the day that I’m not needed… and just sort of be there for him if need be.” It’s a powerful example of how innovation is reshaping accessibility in sport.
