THE LONDON MARATHON: MEDALS AND T-SHIRTS

London Marathon Events have asked all Golden Bond charities to contact all runners with an invitation to review the choices you were asked to make at the time of online registration relating to whether you want to claim a medal and/or a Finisher’s T-shirt.

Dear Runner

 

London Marathon Events have asked all Golden Bond charities to contact all runners with an invitation to review the choices you were asked to make at the time of online registration relating to whether you want to claim a medal and/or a Finisher’s T-shirt.

 

You only need to act on this if you want to review/change your choices. If you do, you have until 4pm on Tuesday April 22 to make amendments. Race Week will be busy, so we recommend you deal with this now and can then forget about it.

 

The steps they list are as follows:

 

  1. Locate your booking reference number. This can be found in your entry registration confirmation email which came from: londonmarathon@info.letsdothis.com


    Check your inbox from around the time you registered online. If that fails, as a last resort we can look this up and provide it.


  1. Visit the “Manage booking” page using this link:  Enter your booking reference.

 

  1. Click the “Manage” button and then select “Edit your booking information*”.


  2. Enter your registered email address and date of birth.

 

  1. Click “Edit your booking information”.

 

  1. Scroll to the medal preferences section to ensure you are happy with your choice.

 

  1. Save your changes.

 

*Important note:  this only applies to your medal/T-shirt preferences. All other information you supplied to LME is now “sealed” and unchangeable. You cannot, for example, change the size of your T-shirt or your predicted finishing time. LME advises that you do not need to notify them of a change of address as nothing is mailed to you. If your email has changed, contact helpdesk@londonmarathonevents.co.uk (as well as notifying us, of course)

 

If you need to withdraw from the Marathon, you must contact us, not the Marathon. The withdrawal procedure referred to on the LM website does NOT apply to you as a Golden Bond runner: your place belongs to the charity.

 

Coming up… Physical Registration / number collection (Expo at Excel – April 23-26) and on-the-day instructions. LME will email you within the next week or so with full pre-race details and we will also send you a summary of key points at the same time.
