CHALLENGES
Welcome to The Sapphire Running Zone virtual events: our 30 Day Challenges! They are a great way to fundraise and all the funds you generate will help our charity partners with their essential work. They are really flexible and you can have lots of fun along the way. You can run as little or often as you like, within the 30 days and when and where you like, and be rewarded with an exclusive medal, and a range of other goodies, like hoodies, caps and if you raise £1000 you be able to grab yourself a pair of £150 running shoes! On this page you'll see the steps to get started, the 12 virtual destinations, and an introduction to themed destination fundraising. If you can complete your challenge in under 30 days that's fine with us. One day, or 30 days; it's your choice!
Decide on your charity from the list below and your preferred distance, from 5km to the marathon. You have 30 days to complete your challenge, whatever the distance. You can run, or walk, and for however far you like on any given day. Do it all in one day, or over 30 days and you can also include official events if you like.
Select your charity in the 'CHOOSE YOUR CHARITY AND ENTER HERE' section at the bottom of this page. It's free to enter and is really quick!
STEP 2
Once you've entered you'll be sent a link to a page that has all of our virtual destinations. Simply select where in the world you want to run virtually and you can get started. With all the support on offer you'll think you're actually there! There are videos, playlists and themed fundraising ideas!
Setting up a fundraising page is easy and we'll show you how to do that, how to update it and how to share it. You'll be surprised how simple it all is.
Keep a record of each run (use a running app or smartwatch) and then upload the files on the destination page once you're done. We'll check it and once verified, along with your fundraising we'll send you email confirmation and a few days later your goodies will follow.
You just need to hit certain fundraising targets to get your goodies. These will vary by charity and start at just £50 to grab one of the great medals!

Entry to our 30 Day Challenges is free. If you raise £50 you'll get one of our high quality medals and if you raise £250 you'll get the medal and a range of different goodies from your chosen charity. Find out more by clicking on one of the charity logos below to see what they offer.
