Our virtual marathon route in the Cidade Maravilhosa, the Marvellous City, is the stuff of dreams! We start at the huge Maracana Stadium, head along the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, get up close to Sugarloaf Mountain and finish next to the Christ the Redeemer statue. We've highlighted the key landmarks you'd see on the run if you were actually there; just click on each to follow the route. You can see more images of them in the photos under the map and we've included some videos to give you a flavour of the City. To really get you in the mood we have put together a playlist, full of Rio rhythms, perfect for your Virtual Rio marathon runs. Just hit the Spotify button under the map. After the videos are some fundraising ideas, Rio style, and under those is a tracker where you can update your progress. At the bottom of the page is information on how to send us your evidence.
