FUNDRAISING EVENTS

We really do appreciate you fundraising for us. We have so much we want to do to support those with back pain and you can make it happen.  There are so many ways that you can help us by raising whatever you are able to if you have an entry in a running event, whatever the distance. Here we show you how to go about fundraising using events as your focus and we'll show you some of the programmes that we offer. We are truly grateful for any support that you can give us and in return we will give you amazing fundraising and training advice - guaranteed. There are also some great rewards!
 
Fundraising is much easier than you think and we have lots of support both for that and for your training in conjunction with our partner, The Sapphire Running Zone. As a thank you for creating a JustGiving page we will sign you up to one of the Sapphire Running Zone NAVY Plans and this gives you access to all of their content that's normally behind a paywall, including training plans, blogs and much more. In addition we'll send you one of our quality running vests, or shirts, for training and race day. You'll also get a code for 20% off a new pair of running shoes from our running retail partner. If you raise £200 we will refund your race entry fee (up to £40), if you've entered an event, so you get to run it for free, and if you get to £500 you'll also get one of our hoodies.  Would you like a brand new pair of running shoes? If you raise £1000 you can have them! That's right, raise £1000 and we'll send you a code for a new pair of Saucony, Brooks, Hoka, ON, or New Balance running shoes up to the value of £150!. You choose and we'll get them sent directly to your door. That's how much we appreciate your support (all goodies will be dispatched and the refund made on completion of your event).

STEP 1

Decide on the type of event you'd like to do.  If it's a running event (you can walk these as well in most cases) there are lots of options from 5km, to marathons, and beyond. Enter the event of your choice on the event website and then join our team by going to the 'JOIN US' section below and letting us know. That way we can then support you with training plans and fundraising ideas. If you raise a certain amount we will then refund your entry fee! Find out more in Step 3.

 

STEP 2

The next step is to set up a fundraising page on the JustGiving website. We'll show you how to do that and how to share it with your friends and family.  We have lots of fundraising ideas that we'll give you including the destination based ideas below.  (We use these for our 30 Day Challenge runners and they work really well.) There are videos, playlists and themed fundraising ideas! You can download our fundraising guide below.
 

STEP 3

We'd love you to raise whatever you can. There are no fixed targets if you have your own entry in an event, but if you do raise a certain amount we've got some great rewards!

  • Raise £200 and get your entry fee refunded up to the value of £40

  • ​Raise £500 and we'll also send you one of our gorgeous hoodies

  • ​Raise £1000 and we'll also send you a  voucher for a £150 pair of running shoes from our online retail partner!

DESTINATION THEMED FUNDRAISING IDEAS

Why not host a fundraising dinner party using food and drink from a destination around the world or a bake sale using local products? We've got lots of great ideas to make your fundraising fun and easy!
